Egypt's President Abdel Fattah Al Sisi met Friday heads of six major South Korean companies, to discuss expanding their investments in Egypt, during his visit to South Korean capital, Seoul, Al Bawaba News reported. The six South Korean companies, include major conglomerates, such as SK Group, GS Group, Hyundai Motor Company and Doosan, who are specialized in the fields of heavy industry, construction, engineering, IT services and electronics. Al Sisi has discussed with the head of Doosan conglomerate, ways of which the conglomerate can contribute in developing the sanitation sector, which is considered to be one of the government's top priorities. The president has also held individual talks with the head of SK Group conglomerate, about its contribution to implementing and constructing a petrochemical complex in Ain Sukhna, a project which the government hopes to be one of the most important and largest petrochemical projects in the Middle East. Al Sisi is expected to visit the industrial free zone in order to learn about the South Korean experience in this field and to benefit from it, in an attempt to use this knowledge in developing the Suez Canal development projects.
