Official sources from the Egyptian Ministry of Civil Aviation revealed Thursday that an Italian passenger flight (Merdiana Airways) coming from Milan landed in Sharm Al-Sheikh airport with 167 passengers on board, Al-Bawaba News reported. The Italian commercial flight is the first since Italy banned its passenger flights to Egypt following a Russian passenger flight crash in the Sinai last October. It is due for Merdiana Airways to fly twice a week from Milan to Sharm Al-Sheikh airport, while departs from Marsa-Alam to Milan.
