Japanese Prime Minister, Shinzo Abe met Monday President Abdel Fattah Al Sisi, to discuss bilateral ties, Al Bawaba News reported. Abe congratulated Al Sisi on his country's successful parliamentary elections, which represent the last step in Egypt's road-map of June 30 revolution. He stressed on Japan's support to Egypt in its quest to achieve sustainable development, praising "Egypt's vision 2030", which was launched recently. Furthermore, he welcomed the formation of Japanese-Egyptian parliamentary friendship association, which will contribute in enhancing cooperation between both parliaments and the overall bilateral ties between the two countries. The Japanese prime minister pointed out that his country will continue to promote economic cooperation with Egypt, through the contribution of the Bank of Japan for imports and exports in financing some of the projects implemented by Japan in Egypt.
