Egypt's General Authority for Cultural Palaces (GACP) published a new book titled "The Tale of Lewis IX Kneeling at Mansoura Inlets" written by Mohamed Shalaby Amin, Al-Bawaba News reported Wednesday. The new release discussed the history of Al-Mansoura city and the defeat of King Lewis IX at the outskirts of the city where he was captured and jailed in Ibn-Loqman state house. The book also discussed the negotiations made with the king's wife to pay the fine and release him. It also revealed Lewis's plan which inspired many western policies nowadays against the Arab states and the West's keenness to establish a western state in the Arab region.
