An army officer and three conscripts were killed Tuesday in an improvised explosive device (IED) that exploded in an armored vehicle on Al Tawel Road, south of the city of Sheikh Zuweid, northern Sinai governorate, Veto News reported. The bodies were transferred to El Arish military hospital for treatment. Security forces have been deployed in the crime scene to secure the surrounding area and check for any potential security risk.
