Egypt's President Abdel Fattah Al Sisi hosted Thursday his Gabonese counterpart Ali Bongo in the presidential palace to discuss the recent developments in Africa, Youm7 reported. Sisi welcomed Gabon's president saying, "He is a dear friend and we are happy to receive him in Egypt. We are always keen to coordinate with the Gabonese side in different regional and international issues." The Egyptian president said that They discussed the ways to improve the bilateral relations between the two countries during the coming period on both economic and trade sides. Mr. Sisi stressed the need for increasing cooperation between the two countries in health care and agriculture, expressing his country's keenness to perform a major role to achieve food security in Gabon. On the other hand, Gabonese president expressed his appreciation to Egypt's role to support the African states, praising the Egyptian efforts to keep peace and security in the continent.
