Egyptian army Border Guards forces arrested Sunday 26 people, including 16 Sudanese for attempting to illegally infiltrate to Libya through the Egyptian-Libyan border near Salloum, Al-Bawaba News reported. Matrouh governorate security director, Major General Hesham Lotfy has received information from Salloum Police Department that 26 defendants attempted to leave the country illegally in their way to the Libyan territory through Salloum's Western Desert. The security authorities referred the defendants to the prosecution for investigations.
