Egypt's Minister of Foreign Affairs, Sameh Shoukry met Iraq's Prime Minister, Haider al-Abadi on sidelines of Munich Security Conference, Al-Bawaba News reported Saturday. Ministry's spokesperson, Ahmed Abu Zeid said that Shoukry discussed with Abadi the bilateral ties between Egypt and Iraq and ways of cooperation between them in various fields. Abu Zeid added that the two sides discussed a number of regional issues including the crises in Syria, Yemen and Libya, stressing on the importance of the international and Arab cooperation to counter terrorism. Also, Shoukry held meetings with Lebanon's Foreign Minister, Gebran Bassil and Slovakia's Foreign Minister, Miroslav Lajcak to discuss with them a number of regional and international issues, as well as discussing ways of enhancing bilateral cooperation between Egypt and their countries.
