Minister of Foreign Affairs, Sameh Shoukry met his Italian counterpart, Paolo Gentiloni on sidelines of Munich Security Conference, which will conclude on Friday, Al Bawaba News reported. The ministry's Spokesperson Ahmed Abu Zeid revealed that the meeting tackled the investigation in the death of Italian student, Giulio Regeni found dead on Alexandria-Cairo Desert Road, last month. The two sides discussed ways of cooperation between the two countries' authorities to reveal the circumstances behind Regeni's death and the bilateral relations between both countries in various fields. Both sides also addressed the details of continuous coordination and consultation between the two countries on a number of regional and international issues of mutual interest, particularly the latest developments in the Syrian and Libyan crises.
