Spokesman of Foreign Ministry Ahmed Abu Zeid announced Friday that minister, Sameh Shoukry met Lebanese Prime Minister Tammam Salam to discuss bilateral ties, Al Bawaba News reported. The meeting took place on the sidelines of Shoukry's visit to Germany in order to participate in Munich Security Conference, which will conclude on Friday. The two sides discussed the latest developments on the domestic situation in Lebanon and the importance of maintaining the country's stability in light of the troubled situation in the region. Shoukry confirmed during the meeting, on Egypt's full support for Lebanon and its state institutions, pointing out to the need to enhance bilateral relations between both countries in various fields.
