Minister of Culture to open Cairo Literature Festival

Cairo Literature Festival is scheduled to be launched on Saturday under the title "Literature is life", Poetry News Agency reported.
Egypt's Minister of Culture Helmy Al Namenam will open the new round of the festival that will continue until Thursday. The festival will witness the participation from a large number of countries, including Egypt, Iraq, Sudan, Syria and the U.S, Denmark and Dominican Republic.
The festival activities include a number of seminars in different places in Cairo to discuss the literature developments. Here is the schedule of these activities:
The first day: a seminar entitled "Questions about the Arab Literature". It is scheduled to be led by Poet Ahmed Al Shahawy. It will be conducted in Sehimy House, Old Cairo.
The second day: A seminar will be conducted in the Austrian Cultural Forum. It will be entitled "Author between Two Cultures". It will be led by Ola Adel.
The third day: a seminar will be conducted in the Faculty of Languages, Ain Shams University, under the title "The current position of Arab Literature".
The forth day: the Faculty of Languages is scheduled to host a seminar for Martin Foinka (Czech Republic) and Shiheir Al Mosadafa (Egypt).
The fifth day: Doom Institution is scheduled to host Turkish Author Sadek Ganlar and Egyptian writer Hamdy Al Gazar. The session will be led by Ahmed Mourad.
The sixth day: Ahram Institution is scheduled to host a poetry night.
