CBE to pump $40 million to banks in periodic dollar bid

Central Bank of Egypt (CBE) will pump Sunday about $ 40 million to banks operating in the domestic market in the periodic dollar bid, Veto News reported Saturday.
CBE sold in Thursday's periodic dollar bid about $39.4 million with a value of 7.73 pounds to the dollar.
The bank kept the US dollar value steady against the Egyptian pound as it reached EGP 7.8066 for buying and EGP 7.8301 for selling.
