Court drops corruption charges against Mubarak's information minister

Cairo Criminal Court acquitted Mubarak's Information Minister Anas al-Feki, in the illicit gain case on Wednesday, Youm7 News reported.
The court dropped the charges against the former minister, who was sentenced to one-year in prison and to be fined 1.8 million EGP, over accusations of illegally obtaining 33.4 EGP, exploiting his influence in his position.
Few minutes after the verdict, El-Feki celebrated the innocence by posting his photo on his official Facebook page, commented saying "Thank God," to erase it after a while.
