Central Bank of Egypt (CBE) will pump Tuesday about $ 40 million to banks operating in the domestic market in the periodic dollar bid, Youm7 reported Tuesday. CBE sold in Sunday's periodic dollar bid about $39.1 million with a value of 7.7301 pounds to the dollar. CBE had pumped banks operating in the domestic market EGP7.6 billion through the previous two months to cover the impors demand for commodities and raw materials and to pay the dues to foreign investors in the Egyptian capital market.
