Kuwait is willing to redouble support to Tunisia through the Kuwaiti Development Fund, Kuwaiti First Vice-Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Sheikh Sabbah Khaled Al Hamad Al Sabbah. At the end of a talk, Tuesday, with President Beji Caid Essebsi, the Kuwaiti official said to reporters that this fund will redouble its interventions in projects proposed by the Tunisian government. "The Kuwaiti Investments Committee will have several opportunities to work in Tunisia, after setting up an adequate legislative environment as soon as possible," he specified. Al Sabbah reasserted his country's commitment to foster fraternity ties binding Tunisia and Kuwait, pointing out that Caid Essebsi's visit "is an essential step to the consolidation of bilateral cooperation." On the sidelines of his visit, the President of the Republic conferred with a number of Kuwaiti senior officials and personalities about means to boost bilateral cooperation and on issues of mutual interest, Foreign Minister Khemais Jhinaoui said to TAP.
