Unidentified gunmen opened fire Friday on a security checkpoint in the village of Al Qurmaos, at Abu Kbeer center, Al Sharqia governorate, leaving two injured, Youm7 News reported. Security forces moved quickly to the crime scene and set up a security cordon in order to search for potential threat and secure the area. The two injured, including one in serious condition, were rushed to the nearest hospital to receive medical treatment, security sources told Youm7, on condition of anonymity.
