Armored vehicle attack in N. Sinai injures 2 police personnel

Medical and security sources said on Thursday a bombing has just targeted a police vehicle in North Sinai's Al-Arish leaving a police officer and a conscript severely wounded.
The wounded were immediately transferred to a military hospital in Al-Arish.
Earlier on Thursday, five police personnel were killed and three others wounded in a terrorist attack that targeted a security checkpoint in Al-Arish.
Since September 2013, Egyptian army and police have been carrying out an ongoing military campaign against terrorist groups in Sinai after they claimed responsibility for several deadly attacks against the military and police personnel.
