Chinese foreign ministry announced Friday that President Xi Jinping will visit Saudi Arabia, Egypt and Iran, during period from January 19 to 23, Al Bawaba News reported. The spokesman for ministry, Lu Gang said at a press conference that the visit comes at the invitation of the Saudi king, Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Egyptian President, Abdel Fattah Al Sisi and Iranian President, Hassan Rouhani. The Chinese president is expected to hold talks with his Egyptian and Iranian counterparts, as well as the Saudi king on ways to boost relations and cooperation in various fields.
