Foreign Ministry monitors situation of 12 Egyptians detained in Turkey

Ministry of Foreign Affairs is coordinating with Egyptian Consulate in Istanbul to follow the situation of 12 Egyptians detained in Turkey, Al Bawaba News reported Monday.
The 12 Egyptians were detained in the city of Adana by Turkish authorities for allegedly attempting to cross through Turkish territory to join the Islamic State (IS) in Syria.
The consulate revealed that the Egyptian nationals belong to the same family, including three children, pointing out that it is following their situation and finding out the details of their arrest, as well as the nature of the charges they face.
