Egypt's parliamentarian Mostafa Bakry said on Sunday he withdrew from the Support Egypt Coalition (SEC) following disputes over the election of parliament's speaker and two deputies. Bakry described what happened during a coalition's meeting on Saturday as a "political joking", accusing the coalition's leading figures of deliberately excluding him from the parliament's deputy's position. The Saturday's meeting also witnessed the withdrawal of Akmal Kertam, head of the Conservatives Party, who threatened his party would leave the coalition in case the main vision was abandoned. Sources within the coalition said parliamentarian Ali Abdel A'al would run for the parliament speaker's position.
