Court resumes trial of Hisham Genena for defaming former Justice Min.

The Cairo Criminal Court resumes Sunday the trial of head of Central Auditing Organization, Hisham Genena, journalist at Al-Wafd newspaper, Tahany Ibrahim, and newspaper's editor-in-chief, Magdy Serhan, over charges of libel and defamation of former justice minister Adel Abdel Hamid, Al-Bawaba news reported.
Prosecution had accused Genena of defaming former justice minister during press interview with Al-Wafd newspaper in September 2015.
Genena claimed in his statements that Abdel Hamid has seized public money when he occupied the office of chairman of the Communication Corporation.
