Morsi on trial over espionage charges

Cairo Criminal Court will resume Saturday the trial of ousted President Mohamed Morsi as well as 10 other co-defendants over espionage with Qatar, Al Bawaba News reported.
The defendants face charges of leaking classified documents and reports on the Egyptian army to Qatar through the Qatari TV channel, Al Jazeera.
Morsi was ousted, July 2013 amid military-backed mass street protests.
