Egypt's President Abdel Fattah Al-Sisi met Monday, with the German Minister of Economic Cooperation and Development, Gerd Muller, in the presence of the German Ambassador Julius Georg Luy, Investment Minister Ashraf Salman and Minister of International Cooperation Sahar Nasr, Al-Goumhuriya Newspaper reported. Presidency Spokesperson Alaa Youssef said that the President commended the strong collaborative ties between the two countries while supporting Egypt's role in the Middle East. Al-Sisi asserted the German companies' role in helping Egypt to prosper and develop new ways of employing and using renewable energy sources.
