Minister of electricity, Mohamed Shaker said Monday in a statement to CBC Extra TV channel that the agreement between Egypt and Russia to establish El Dabaa nuclear plant, includes the construction of four nuclear reactors. Shaker revealed that each nuclear reactor will produce 1200 megawatts of energy. He pointed out that the first nuclear reactor will be operational by 2024. The minister explained that the rest of the nuclear reactors will follow during the later years. He added that currently there are discussions on the technical details related to the project, which will be finished in late December.
