German economic delegation looks for cooperation ties in solar energy field

A German economic delegation has arrived to Cairo international airport Monday dawn to participate in Monday's German-Egyptian New and Renewable Energy day, Al-Bawaba News reported.
The event is by organized the German-Arab Chamber of Industry and Commerce in Cairo (GACIC) with the cooperation of the German Federal Enterprise for International Cooperation (GIZ) and Cairo's German Embassy Commercial Office.
Executive director of GACIC, Dr. Rainer Herret stated that the events will focus on ways to use the solar power systems in the Egyptian tourism and industry sectors.
The German companies offer solutions and technology of photovoltaic cells, which is generating electricity from the sun, to be used in households, industries, or in tourism and hotel facilities, Herret added.
