Minister of Interior, Magdy Abdel Ghaffar said Monday that the ministry's security services monitored a number of terrorist operations in the country during the coming period stressing on the readiness of police personnel to thwart these plots, Al Bawaba News reported. Abdel Ghaffar pointed out that the security services have succeeded during the last period in arresting terrorist elements as well as reducing their criminal activities, adding that that the ministry arrest terrorist daily and refer them to investigations authorities. The Minister that terrorist elements began to launch suicide attacks due to the success of the security services in the reduction of the activity of these elements as well as monitoring their plans.
