Egypt's President Abdel Fattah Al Sisi met Wednesday with Interior Minister Magdi Abdel Ghaffar had to review the ministry's performance during the last 3 months, Albawaba news reported. Abdel Ghaffar said that security forces held several intensive preemptive operations to thwart militant attacks which resulted in the arrest of 4,000 terror suspects. He also reviewed the ministry efforts to raise quality of police including, launching training programs, developing security plans, and increasing the deployment of troops targeting dangerous criminal and terrorist hotbeds. Egypt has been plagued with frequent terrorist attacks by extreme militant groups who kept targeting the security and military forces.
