Imam Al-Sadiq Al-Mahdi, former prime minister of Sudan and the leader of the Sudanese opposition, said there is a fundamental disagreement between Egypt and Sudan caused by the anti-Muslim Brotherhood (MB) approach in Egypt, Al-Bawaba News reported Tuesday. Al-Mahdi added that the situation in Libya increased the dispute, in terms of the two countries' support for two different governments. Mahdi pointed out that the remarks of the Sudanese Deputy Ambassador in Egypt came to inflame the dispute, harming the popular interests of the citizens of the two countries.
