Egypt's Supreme State Security Prosecution remanded in custody the Muslim Brotherhood tycoon, Hassan Malek for 15 days pending investigations over terror related crimes, Al-Bawaba News reported. He was accused of joining and funding a terrorist entity as well as harming the Egyptian economy. Malek is considered one of the most prominent businessmen of the outlawed group along with his business partner, the now-jailed deputy chairman of the Brotherhood in Egypt, Khairat Al-Shater.
