Minister of Culture Helmy al-Namnam, head of the Emirate of Sharjah culture and information department Abdullah Al-Owais and Luxor governor Mohammed Badr opens Sunday "the Arab House of Poetry", in the city of Luxor, Al-Bawaba News reported Sunday. The goal of the house is to maintain poetry and recognize its innovations, and to keep and maintain interest in the arts and Literature of the classical Arabic language. The minister stated that the Arab League had chosen the city of Luxor as the capital of the Arab culture for 2016. Several Sharjah Ministry of Culture and Information officials and media had participated in the event.
