Contrary to the UK government's endeavors to evacuate their nationals from Egypt, myriads of British tourists in the Red Sea resort of Sharm el-Sheikh posted a photo on Facebook showing their enjoyment. "Delayed, but we are British, and we are still enjoying the hospitality and sunshine. Sorry for those stranded," the post read. Tourists in Sharm el-Sheikh said the accident could happen anywhere in the world, stressing on their delight and safety in Egypt. Thousands of Britons have been stuck in Sharm el-Sheikh airport amid British bans on travel to the North African country allegedly for lack of tightened security measures in the airport. Other western governments including Russia, Belgium and New Zealand suspended flights from and to Sharmn el-Sheikh following a Russian passenger plane crash in Egypt's Sinai last Saturday, leaving 224 killed. Egyptian officials and aviation experts said the suspension was a biased decision that was based on claims, adding security procedures in all Egyptian airports cope with the international standards.
