Egyptian Petroleum Minister, Tarek Al-Mula signed, on Wednesday, an initial accord with British Petroleum (BP) to accelerate developing "Atoll" discovery, in the North Damietta Offshore, Al-Bawaba News reported Thursday. The agreement came in the framework of Egyptian President Abdel Fattah Al-Sisi's meeting with BP's executive director, Bob Dudley in London. "We are delighted to achieve remarkable progress in developing "Atoll" since it was discovered eight months ago," Dudley added. BP has announced in March 2015 that a huge gas field was discovered with reserves up to 1.5 trillion square feet of raw gas, in addition to 31 million barrels of capacitor oil.
