British Ambassador in Cairo, John Casson Said Saturday in a press conference at the embassy, that his country faces the same terrorism which Egypt fights against domestically and internationally, Al-Watan News reported. Casson stressed that security measures must be taken in order to eliminate the threat of the terrorist organization, the Islamic State (IS), as well as tackle all extremist ideas that attract people towards terrorism. He revealed that there are key areas to be discussed during the visit of President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi to Britain, such as security, investment, economy and education. Furthermore, he pointed out that his country is the largest investor in the Egyptian economy, as during the economic conference, which was held at the city of Sharm El Sheikh, the British companies announced $ 14 billion of investments in Egypt. The British ambassador added that as long as he is the ambassador to Egypt, his country will remain number one country in foreign investment in Egypt. Also, he pointed that the quality of education is the key to a bright future, clarifying that Britain has four universities among the top 10 universities in the world, as it produces about 16% of products in the scientific research. Casson explained that the size of scholarships has been doubled and during the next five years, there will be nearly 600 scholarships to obtain masters and doctoral degree. "The real revolution of Egypt is its young people," the ambassador concluded at the end of the press conference.
