High Elections Committee (HEC) head Ayman Abbas said Friday the voting run-off witnessed minor violations compared to the first round of parliamentary elections, Al-Bawaba News reported. The violations rate of the run-off did not exceed 1%, mostly involving the delay in opening some polling stations or promoting for some candidates during the electoral silence period, Abbas added. Abbas pointed out that many international observers praised the electoral race, highlighting the peaceful voting and good organization in the polling stations.
