Egypt's General Book Authority (EGBA) held a seminar to discuss the narrative collection titled ‘the Remand' for its author, Shawkat Al-Masry, Al-Bawaba News reported Thursday. Nabil Ragheb, the prominent author attended the seminar after 22 years of absence away from cultural and intellectual activities. Ragheb discussed the history of the ‘short tale', revealing that since mid 19 century writers adopted the new trend of composing ‘short tale' to fit the modern age with its consequences and developments.
