Minister of Defense, Sedki Sobhi visited Sunday the armed forces and the police soldiers stationed in North Sinai to check the governorate's security situation and efforts to secure the citizens, Al-Bawaba News reported. Sobhi inspected a number of the security checkpoints in Sinai, praising army and police personnel in securing and protecting citizens. The minister pointed out that the people of Sinai are Egypt's national security first defensive line, adding that their cooperation with the armed forces and police restored the governorate's security and stability. He added that the upcoming period will witness a number of projects that aim to provide job opportunities for the people of Sinai.
