Minister of Defense and Military Production, Sedky Sobhy witnessed Monday the inspection procedures and raising the combat effectiveness of one of the military formations in the Western Military Region, Al-Bawaba News reported. "Homeland defense and protecting the national security is a sacred mission that the armed forces personnel were sworn to adhere to," Minister of Defense said. Sobhy also called on the armed forces personnel to be alert and ready, and to maintain their highest standards of efficiency and combat readiness as well as develop their fighting skills.
