Minister of Defense, Sedky Sobhy attended Tuesday a military parade executed by Thunderbolt Forces, Umbrellas Forces and Reconnaissance Units, Al Ahram newspaper reported. The Special Forces demonstrated their tactical fighting formations against hostile targets, preparing ambushes and storming into hideouts. Major General Gamal Hammad said in the opening statement that the military institution is keen to improve the fighters' performance and develop training methods. He added that the forces are also committed to maintain military discipline in the highest levels of efficiency. Sobhy discussed the forces' training and combating methods with a number of military officers. He praised their techniques and performance, describing the fighters as brave and patriots. Furthermore, he asked the fighters to continue to do their utmost efforts and sacrifices in order to insure the country's national security. He stressed on the importance of the communication between commanders and fighters in order to develop the level of fighters' efficiency. Following the demonstration the minister inspected weaponry and equipment used by fighters in combat.
