Egypt's Prime Minister, Sherif Ismail met Monday the Russian Ambassador to Cairo, Serge Kirpichenko to discuss the ways to increase the Egyptian exports of agricultural products to Russia, Al Bawaba News reported. During the meeting, attended by Minister of Agriculture Essam Fayed, Ismail stressed on the need to ease the procedures of the agricultural exports to Russia in order to increase the exchange trade rate between the two countries. Ismail expressed his government's keenness to take the measures to expand the Russian contribution to the large projects that are currently being implemented in Egypt. For his part, Kirpichenko said that his country prepares for the expected visit of the Egyptian Electricity Minister to Russia, who will discuss ways of boosting cooperation between the two countries in the electricity field.
