Egyptian Petroleum Ministry held joint conference of the African Refiners Association (ARA) under the auspices of minister Tarek Al-Mulla in Suez city, eastern Cairo, Al-Bawaba Mews reported Wednesday. The conference discussed deepening cooperation between African nations in terms of the role of refining industry and its contribution to the economy in securing high revenues in addition to being a source of foreign currency. The conference encourages the member nations to exchange views and experience in the refining industry as well as promoting the technical and economic performance to keep pace with global developments.
