The Egyptian city of Luxor will host "Future of Exploration and Production in Southern Egypt Forum" scheduled to be held next October under the auspices of Egypt's Petroleum Minister, Tarek al-Mulla, al-Bawaba News reported Friday. The forum will exhibit the recent scientific researches regarding exploration, production and mining related to groundwater in southern Egypt, the Western Desert, the Red Sea and the Gulf of Suez. The forum will conclude its activities by a field visit to the surrounding areas to inspect the region in terms of the structure of the geological layers.
