Surveying and Development conference has been launched Saturday in the Red Sea resort of Sharm El Sheikh, under auspices of Prime Minister, Sherif Ismail, Al Bawaba News reported. The conference, which will last from October 3 to October 6, is organized by The Ministry of Water Resources and Irrigation ( MWRI ), the Arab Union of Surveyors (AUS), the National Water Research Center (NWRC), the Egyptian Committee for Surveying and Mapping (ECSM) and the Egyptian Survey Authority (ESA). This conference is the first regional conference to be held at the scientific level of specialists, as it presents an important opportunity for surveyors and Geomatics Professionals to meet, exchange experience and discuss common issues of surveying and development. The event will cover the latest technology in various working fields in the region in the attendance of a number of high-profile international and regional speakers. About 300 professors, researchers and engineers will attend the event, in addition to more than 15 professors from foreign countries, including Germany, England, Italy, France and India.
