Egypt launches 2bn euros power plant in Kafr al-Sheikh

Kafr al-Sheikh Governor, Osama Hamdi Abdel Wahed launched on Thursday the construction works of al-Borolos power plant, Al-Bawaba News reported.
"Al-Borolos power plant will produce 4200 megawatt at a total cost of 2bn euros," Abdel Wahed stated, adding that construction works scheduled to be finished during 2016.
The governorate is planning to build other three power plants to meet the citizens' needs of electricity.
