Al-Azhar's Imam to deliver speech before Italian Parliament

Grand Imam of Al-Azhar Sheikh Ahmed Al-Tayeb will deliver a speech before the Italian Parliament in the second half of October, upon an invitation from the Speaker of Parliament Laura Bolderany, Al-Bawaba News reported.
The speech will address peace issues and its relations to Islam religion. Al-Tayeb will explain the real purpose of war in Islam as to repel the aggression and not to attack others. He will also affirm Islam's keenness on the freedom of belief and opinion, as well as recognizing human rights.
