IRGC to Hold Missile Drill Soon
Published in Albawaba on 22 - 09 - 2015

Commander of the Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC) Aerospace Force Brigadier General Amir Ali Hajizadeh said his forces are scheduled to stage a missile maneuver in the near future.
"The missile drill will be held soon, and we won't allow any enemy to make a move (against the country)," the top officer told reporters in Tehran on Tuesday.
Iranian officials have already made it clear that the country's military program, including the routine exercises and test of new missiles, will not be hampered by anything, including a nuclear deal with the Group 5+1 (Russia, China, the US, Britain, France and Germany).
While Iran and the Group 5+1 (also known as the P5+1 or E3+3) finalized the text of a lasting deal on Tehran's nuclear program on July 14, US officials have not stopped making provocative comments about military action against Iran.
Back in August, Chief of Staff of the Iranian Armed Forces Major General Hassan Firouzabadi affirmed that the country's missile tests will be carried out on schedule, according to plans endorsed by Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyed Ali Khamenei.
Earlier in May, Ayatollah Khamenei underscored that the Iranian nation will not let any possible act of aggression against the country go unanswered.
The Leader said he has already made it clear, even in the tenure of former US president, that "the era of hit and run has ended", and that the Iranian nation will chase aggressors.
