Egypt's courts receive several appeals for halting elections

Alexandria Administrative court upheld the High Electoral Committee's decision of excluding Al-Nour Party's candidate, Abdel Salam Abdel Maksoud from parliamentary elections, Al-Bawaba News reported Tuesday.
Many candidates have been through similar appeals against their running for elections because of unverified bank accounts or not allocating enough funds for their electoral campaigns.
