Iraqi Police Killed 22 ISIS Terrorist Fighters in East of Ramadi
Published in Albawaba on 19 - 09 - 2015

Chief of the Iraqi Federal Police Lieutenant General Raed Shaker Jawdat said that his forces' bombing of ISIS terrorists' positions in the Eastern flank of Ramadi resulted in the killing of at least 22 Takfiri terrorists and wounding of many more.
"The missile Battalion of the Iraqi Federal Police bombed a gathering of the ISIS Takfiri terrorists in Albu Murad area, East of Ramadi, killing 16 members of the terrorist group and wounding six others," Jawdat said.
"An ISIS commander, Maher Jamal Jazzayee, and three foreign nationals were among the killed terrorists in the police shelling, and Mohammed Jamal Jazzayee was seriously injured in the police attack," the police chief went on to say.
Earlier this week, the Iraqi popular forces known as Hashed Al-Shaabi dismissed media reports claiming that they have withdrawn from Ramadi city, and underlined opposition to the US forces' partnership in fighting against terrorists in the Western province of Anbar.
"The US will not sacrifice even one of its soldiers for Iraq and their present meddling in the government's affairs is a plot to disintegrate Iraq," Karim al-Nouri, a commander of the popular forces, was quoted by Iraq's Arabic-language Ware'e news agency as saying at the time.
He reminded that Hashed Al-Shaabi has earned many victories against the terrorists, and said, "Therefore, the popular forces will not wait for anyone's permission and will continue fighting against the ISIS;" FNA reported.
