New Prime Minister starts consultations to form the government

New Prime Minister Sherif Ismail started Sunday the consultation process in order to form the government, before the deadline set by President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi, Aswat Masriya news reported.
Sisi mandated Ismail, former Minister of Petroleum, to form a new government after accepting the resignation of former prime minister Ibrahim Mahlab on Saturday, allowing a week at most to announce the names of the new ministers.
"The government's priorities are to put an urgent and a specific program to achieve real economic developments and provide citizens with proper services," Ismail stated Sunday.
