Columnist and candidate for parliament, Abdul Rahim Ali said Saturday in a statement to Al Bawaba News that next parliament has an exceptional importance. Ali stressed that voters would need to choose the candidates cautiously, so as not to repeat past mistakes by mixing religion with politics as happened during Muslim Brotherhood (MB) terrorist group's ruling. He pointed out that the battle of parliamentary elections is not less dangerous than the fight against terrorism and corruption, as it will lay down the foundations upon which the nation's future will be built. Also, he warned against mixing money with politics during the upcoming parliamentary elections, which would form a serious risk. He explained that if rich politicians, who seek parliament seats, gain a large number of seats, they would implement foreign plans and agendas that would threaten the security and public safety. He revealed that his election campaign is focused on fighting all kinds of corruption, stressing that in case he achieved his goal of becoming a parliamentarian, he would make it his obligation to eradicate all sorts of corruption.
