British Ambassador in Cairo John Casson praised Tuesday the economic reforms undertaken by the Egyptian government which influenced positively on the country's investment development, Al Bawaba News reported. Casson said that Egypt is Britain's partner as they are linked with economic and strategic relations, adding that he expects a big role for British companies operating in energy field to cooperate with Egypt especially after the discovery of a new natural gas field in the Mediterranean Sea. He stressed that the number of British tourists who visited Egypt during this year reached nearly one million tourists, pointing out that this is a good return for British tourism as the number of British tourists reached before January 2011 about two million tourists.
